A BYU team is measuring how last year’s mega fires, that dumped ash and nutrients into Utah’s watershed, are impacting this year’s water quality. They also published research showing that textbooks don’t depict the human impact on the water cycle.

NASA has assigned a team of BYU chemistry and engineering researchers with a task critical to the success of future missions to Mars: examining dust. Dust on Mars is as abundant as water on Earth and could pose health risks and interfere with spacecraft. Since there’s no Mars dust on Earth, BYU’s team created their own.

BYU is going to offer everything you need: food trucks, inflatables, autographs, live bands, and photo ops with former Cougar greats and major trophies. Fans can enjoy this new gameday experience for three hours before kickoff at every home game this year. The traditional Cougar Walk will now route through this location, which has been dubbed Cougar Canyon.

Does that picture scare the living daylights out of you? BYU researchers discovered that showing people visuals that capture skin damage and signs of skin cancer can motivate them to put on some extra protection when they go out in the sun.
