BYU’s Center for Animation clinched its 20th Student Emmy at the 2024 College Television Awards for The Witch’s Cat, a whimsical tale of romance and rivalry with a witch, her boyfriend, and a mischievous dragon-cat. BYU AdLab students also swept all three nominations in the commercial category: the winning ad was “No One Is Alone,” which depicts a touching story of a loving family and the impact of Alzheimer’s disease. |

Before leaving Provo for the 2024 NDA College Cheer and Dance Championships in Florida, where they won their 25th and 26th national titles, the BYU Cougarettes shared a preview of their jazz routine. See their performance here. The team also claimed the NDA national championship title in the hip-hop category. The BYU cheer squad finished second and third in the coed and game-day divisions at the competition. |

What happens when a book fairy gets caught? Pat Suggs (right) learned firsthand—frozen mid-creep on the porch—when she was discovered by the boy to whom she’d secretly been delivering books. Along with spreading literacy, Suggs has run food and clothing drives, supported community programs to address drug abuse, and served on committees to preserve local heritage and keep her town safe.
