| Inspired by the recently restored Provo River Delta, recent BYU grad Josh Hammari created Kayak Camp with the Bean Life Science Museum. This hands-on experience allows kids to kayak, hike, and journal as they learn stewardship in the great outdoors. “You’re not going to want to protect something if you don’t love it,” says museum educator Leah O’Barr. “And you’re not going to learn to love it if you don’t experience wonder, awe, and amazement at how many beautiful things there are in the world.” Read the story or watch the video to learn more. |
